A new turbo built for the demanding use of the Nissan Navara 3.0 dCi
The Nissan Navara fitted with the V6 3.0 dCi engine is frequently used for towing trailers, carrying heavy loads or professional off-road driving. This kind of use places considerable strain on the turbocharger, which must deliver consistent boost pressure even at low revs and under heavy load. Repeated heat cycles, combined with periods of idling immediately after hard work, accelerate premature turbo wear if maintenance is not kept up to scratch. That is why fitting a new, reliable turbo from the very first use is particularly well suited to this demanding vehicle.
Compatibility with the Nissan Navara 3.0 dCi
This new turbo is compatible with reference 49189-07802, fitted to the Nissan Navara equipped with the 3.0 dCi engine, engine code V9X (or V9X891 depending on the version), with an engine capacity of 2993 cm³ in Diesel form. Before placing an order, we strongly recommend that you check the reference number on your vehicle's old turbo, as certain power variants may correspond to closely related references.
Exchange and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is never left off the road. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting on the V9X
On this V6 Diesel engine, the majority of turbo failures stem from inadequate lubrication: poor-quality engine oil, missed oil changes or a clogged oil filter. Before installation, check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the air intake hoses, the intercooler and the air intake, to prevent any contamination of the new turbo. When starting the engine for the first time, make sure the oil circuit is properly primed to ensure immediate lubrication of the turbo. Avoiding sharp increases in engine speed immediately after a cold start will also help extend its service life.
