What changes behind the wheel of your Nissan Interstar with a healthy turbo
On a Nissan Interstar fitted with the 2.3 dCi 125 engine, a turbo in good working order makes itself felt immediately: low-rev response becomes crisp again, the van regains its ability to tow or carry a full payload without struggling on hills, and any characteristic whistling or abnormal blowing noise disappears. Conversely, a worn turbo means a gradual loss of power, exhaust smoke and excessive fuel consumption – all of which take their toll on the day-to-day running of this light commercial vehicle.
A new turbo compatible with reference 795637-5001S for the Interstar 2.3 dCi 125
This new turbo is offered as a compatible replacement for reference 795637-5001S, intended for the Nissan Interstar fitted with the 2.3 dCi 125 engine, engine code M9T, with a capacity of 2298 cm³ and Diesel fuel type. Before placing an order, it is recommended that you check the reference printed on the casing of your old turbo, as well as the engine code shown on the identification plate, to ensure perfect compatibility with your Interstar.
Exchange basis and warranty for this Interstar turbo
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that your Interstar is not off the road any longer than necessary. This turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting on your M9T
On the M9T engine fitted to the Interstar 2.3 dCi 125, the leading cause of turbo failure is a lack of lubrication due to poor-quality oil, missed oil changes or a clogged oil filter. A blocked air filter or a damaged intercooler can also cause premature wear. Before fitting, it is advisable to check the oil circuit and the condition of the intake and air hoses, and to prime the new turbo with oil before the first start-up, to avoid any dry running on initial start.
