This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Classe C is not left off the road during the process. A 12-month parts warranty applies, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting on your Classe C 160
On a turbocharged petrol engine such as the M270.910, premature turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, engine oil that does not meet manufacturer specifications, or oil changes left too long. A clogged air filter or a faulty intercooler can also disrupt the operation of the forced induction system.
- Check the condition of the oil circuit and replace the oil filter before fitting
- Inspect the hoses and air intake for any leaks or foreign bodies
- Prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up
- Drive gently after replacement, avoiding high revs immediately
