What changes behind the wheel of your Opel Zafira B 1.9 CDTI
A turbo in good condition makes all the difference between a Zafira B that pulls strongly from low revs and a sluggish MPV that struggles under acceleration. On this family model, often loaded with passengers and luggage, turbo responsiveness directly affects overtaking safety and hill-climbing ease. A new turbo compatible with reference 767835-5003S restores correct boost pressure, normal exhaust emissions and controlled fuel consumption, with no whistling or gradual power loss.
Compatibility with Zafira B engines
This new turbo is compatible with Opel Zafira B models fitted with the 1.9 CDTI 100 ch and 1.9 CDTI 120 ch engines, with an engine capacity of 1910 cm3, corresponding to engine codes Z 19 DT and Z 19 DTL. Before placing any order, always check the reference stamped on your old turbo or on the engine plate, as several turbo variants may have been fitted to this model depending on the production period and power output.
Exchange basis and warranty on this new turbo
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Zafira B is not left off the road. The part is covered by a 12-month warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On Z 19 DT and Z 19 DTL engines, premature turbo failure is often caused by a lubrication fault linked to unsuitable oil quality or missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a cracked intercooler hose. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake. After fitting, prime the oil supply before the first start and avoid running the engine at full revs during the first few kilometres, to protect the service life of the new turbo.
