Not sure you've found the right part?
Why does the turbo on your Peugeot Expert 2.0 HDi fail?
On the 2.0 HDi diesel engines fitted to the Peugeot Expert, the turbocharger is put under particular strain by the repeated short runs, frequent stops and hot restarts typical of a delivery or tradesperson's vehicle. Oil that hasn't been changed on time, a clogged oil filter or a slightly low sump level are all it takes to starve the turbo of proper lubrication and accelerate wear on its shaft. A blocked air filter, a cracked intake hose or a punctured intercooler also upset the air/pressure balance and weaken the turbine, eventually leading to a whistling noise, blue smoke or a noticeable loss of power.
A new turbo compatible with reference 806499-5002S
This new turbo is offered as a replacement solution for the Peugeot Expert fitted with a 2.0 HDi engine, with power outputs on this model ranging from 128 to 163 hp depending on the version. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the engine code and the exact reference printed on your Expert's old turbo, as several variants of the DW10 may have been fitted to this van across different production runs.
Exchange and warranty for your Expert
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so that your Peugeot Expert is off the road for as little time as possible. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting the turbo to your Expert
Before installation, check the oil circuit (hoses, return line, sump cleanliness) as well as the intake hoses and air intake, as their condition directly affects the longevity of the new turbo. Also prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately, and take the opportunity to carry out a full oil change at the time of replacement so you start fresh with clean oil suited to your 2.0 HDi.
