This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Touran 1.6 TDI, with an engine capacity of 1598 cm³, is compatible with CAYB and CAYC engines and carries the reference LST. It fits the Volkswagen Touran equipped with a 1.6 TDI diesel engine – a unit well known for the demands placed on it by frequent urban and motorway driving, which accelerates wear on the dual-clutch and internal components. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing. The dual-clutch is included with this LST reference gearbox and forms part of the reconditioning work carried out.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic module is neither reconditioned nor tested, it is not supplied or included in the sale, and the vehicle's original unit should be reused by the customer.
