Exchange and warranty for your Classe E
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required; however, it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Classe E is not left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting on a Classe E 220 CDI
Premature turbo failure on the OM646 engine is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a damaged intercooler. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the intake hoses, and the air intake to rule out any contamination in the circuit. On first start-up, prime the turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and to protect the longevity of the part on your Classe E.
