Advice before fitting on your 5008
On 1.5 BlueHDi engines fitted to the 5008, premature turbo failure is often caused by a lubrication fault, insufficient engine oil quality, missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a damaged intercooler disrupting air pressure. Before fitting, it is recommended to check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the hoses, and that there are no leaks at the air intake. When starting up for the first time, it is advisable to prime the new turbo with oil to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately upon engine start.
