This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Golf fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine (1598 cm³), compatible with engine codes CAYB, CAYC, CLHA and CRKB, under reference NKA. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear found. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance in line with the requirements of reference NKA.

However, the mechatronic unit is not supplied or included in the sale: it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be refitted by the customer during installation.
