Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by the wear found. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance that meets the requirements of reference NKA.
