RHK, RHR, RHH, 9HU, 9H07: which engine code drives which gearbox on the Scudo from 2007 to 2016?

The answer is straightforward: the engine code stamped on the block is the only reliable reference that removes any ambiguity. The Scudo II (2007–2016) was fitted with two families of diesel engines with distinct architectures. The codes RHK, RHR and RHH identify the variants of the 2.0 Multijet; all of them are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The codes 9HU and 9H07 (DV6UC) correspond to the 1.6 Multijet, which is fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox. These two families share no gearbox whatsoever: a unit from a 2.0 is mechanically incompatible with a 1.6, and vice versa.

Why the engine code takes precedence over the stated engine capacity

The Scudo was sold under the Fiat, Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy badges on the same PSA/Fiat platform. Cross-references do exist — some gearboxes carry part numbers common to several brands — but the correct match always comes down to the engine code, not the engine capacity alone or the model year.
