On the 1.3 MultiJet, insufficient lubrication or the use of unsuitable engine oil — or oil that has been changed too late — is one of the main causes of premature turbo failure. Before fitting, check the oil circuit (pressure, cleanliness, no blockages in the feed and return hoses), the condition of the air filter and intercooler, and the airtightness of the intake hoses. When starting the engine for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
