Symptoms of a worn turbo on the Hyundai Click 1.5 CRDi

On the Hyundai Click fitted with the 1.5 CRDi diesel engine (engine code D4FA), a turbo nearing the end of its life typically shows itself through a noticeable loss of power under acceleration, an unusual whistling noise from the engine bay, blue or black exhaust smoke, and sometimes an engine warning light on the dashboard. Excessive engine oil consumption or hesitation on pick-up are also common signs of advanced turbocharger wear on this model.

About the new turbo for the Hyundai Click

This new turbo is compatible with reference 782404-5001S, designed to fit the Hyundai Click in its 1.5 CRDi petrol configuration, engine D4FA, 1493 cm³ diesel. It is a new part, ready to fit, intended to restore the engine's original performance: correct boost pressure, responsive acceleration and quiet operation.

Engine compatibility and reference check

Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference on the identification plate of the old turbo as well as the engine code D4FA on the engine block of your Hyundai Click, to confirm exact compatibility with this new turbo.

Exchange basis and warranty

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Hyundai Click is not left off the road. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional.

Advice before fitting on the Hyundai Click

Before fitting this new turbo, check the oil circuit (hoses, feed and return lines), the air intake and the condition of the intercooler, to rule out any cause of premature failure due to poor lubrication, a clogged air filter, or engine oil that is of insufficient quality or has not been changed regularly. When starting the engine for the first time, priming the turbo with oil is essential to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings. Gentle driving during the first few kilometres after fitting will also help extend the life of the new turbo on your Hyundai Click.

Payment

Payment for this new turbo can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
