The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting the turbo on the 1.6 TDCi
On this DV6ATED4 engine, the majority of turbo failures stem from lubrication issues caused by unsuitable oil quality, a clogged oil filter, or missed oil changes. A blocked air filter or a cracked intercooler can also cause irregular boost pressure and accelerate wear. Before fitting the new turbo, check the condition of the oil circuit, ensure the hoses are clean, and confirm there are no air intake leaks. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before starting the engine to ensure the turbo is lubricated immediately from the very first revolutions.
