Restore the full performance of your Peugeot 206 1.6 HDi 110

On a Peugeot 206 fitted with the 1.6 HDi 110, a turbo in good condition makes itself felt immediately at the wheel: mid-range response becomes crisp again from low revs, the engine no longer struggles under acceleration, and driving in town or on the open road regains its usual smoothness. Conversely, a worn turbo shows itself through a loss of power, abnormal exhaust smoke or excessive fuel consumption. This new turbo is designed to restore your 206 to its original performance.

Compatibility with 206 engines

This new turbo is compatible with reference 753420-5006S and fits the Peugeot 206 with the 1.6 HDi 110 engine — a 1560 cm³ diesel unit associated with engine codes 9HY and 9HZ (DV6TED4). Before placing an order, always check the reference printed on your old turbo as well as the engine code shown on the identification plate or service book, to ensure perfect compatibility with your vehicle.

Exchange and warranty for your 206

This new turbo for the Peugeot 206 is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is not off the road during the process. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting on the 1.6 HDi 110

On this engine, turbo failure is most commonly caused by a lubrication fault linked to poor-quality oil, missed oil changes or a clogged air filter. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the feed and return hoses, and the air intake and intercooler, to rule out any leak or blockage that could damage the new turbo. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start, then drive gently for the first few kilometres to maximise the longevity of the part.
