Signs of a worn turbo on your Citroën C4 1.6 HDi

This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your C4 is never left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On the DV6ATED4 engine, turbo lifespan is heavily dependent on the quality and frequency of oil changes, the condition of the air filter, and the correct operation of the intercooler. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, hoses and air intake to rule out any cause of premature failure. On first start-up, remember to prime the oil circuit to ensure immediate lubrication of the turbocharger bearings.
