This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, and it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW Série 3 is never left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On the 3.0 diesel units fitted to the Série 3, turbo longevity depends heavily on the quality and frequency of oil changes, the condition of the air filter and the integrity of the intercooler. Before fitting, it is essential to check the oil circuit (hoses and return lines) and the air intake to rule out any risk of contamination or insufficient lubrication. On first start-up, the new turbo must be primed with oil to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and preserve the reliability of the part.
