This new Mercedes Classe E turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is not left off the road during the process. It carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting this turbo to your Classe E
On the OM642 block, premature turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, incorrect or overdue engine oil, or a clogged air filter disrupting the intake. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake and intercooler — these factors directly affect the longevity of the new turbo. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial engine start to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings.
