This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Eos is never left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting on your 2.0 TSI
The service life of a turbo on this petrol engine depends heavily on the quality and frequency of oil changes, as degraded oil accelerates wear on the rotating assembly. A clogged air filter or hard acceleration immediately after a cold start also contribute to premature failure. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit (hoses, return line), the air intake, and the condition of the intercooler to avoid any contamination. On first start-up, remember to pre-lubricate the turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication of the central bearing from the very first engine revolutions.
