This automated manual gearbox is fitted to a large number of diesel C4 models, and its correct operation is essential for smooth gear changes in everyday driving.

Gearbox Reconditioning Process

This BMP6 gearbox is reconditioned to a comprehensive standard: it is fully stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, and gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced according to the wear found. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Important: the actuator unit is not included

This gearbox is sold without the actuator unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested. It remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer during fitting.

Exchange Basis – Immediate Dispatch, Deferred Return

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is dispatched first so that the garage is not left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
