This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Citroën C4 fitted with a 1.6 HDi engine of 1560 cm³, compatible with engine codes 9HX, 9HY, 9HZ, 9HP and 9HR, under reference 20EA07. It is a BMP6 automated manual gearbox, fully reconditioned to a rigorous process: it is completely stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This 20EA07 gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched first, before the old unit is collected. This means the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not kept off the road waiting. The old gearbox, casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Please note that this gearbox is sold without the actuator: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The actuator, which electronically controls gear selection, falls outside the scope of the mechanical reconditioning offered here.
