Reconditioned Citroën C4 1.6 HDi Gearbox – Reference 20ET21

This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Citroën C4 fitted with the 1.6 HDi engine (1560 cm³), compatible with engine codes 9HX, 9HY, 9HZ, 9HP and 9HR, under reference 20ET21. Every gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before worn internal components – including gears, synchros, bearings and seals – are replaced as required. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to ensure performance in line with the original specification under reference 20ET21.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a C4 1.6 HDi, several symptoms point to a worn gearbox: stiff or jerky gear changes, crunching when selecting second or fifth, unusual vibrations whilst driving, an oil leak from the casing, unexpected neutral drops, or a dull noise in neutral with the engine running.

Exchange Basis: A Ready-to-Fit Gearbox, Delivered Before Collection

This gearbox is part of our exchange range: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched before the old unit is collected. The garage is therefore never left without a part, and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted, the old gearbox – casing or block intact – must be returned: return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment
