This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Golf models fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (1390 cm³), covering engine codes BMY, BLG, CAXA, CAVD, CXSA, CPTA, CZCA and CZEA; it carries reference QRM. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing.
Signs that your DSG gearbox needs replacing

The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit; return of the old unit is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied with this QRM gearbox.
