The Reconditioning Process for This DSG 7 Gearbox

The gearbox is fully stripped down, and every component is cleaned and inspected to assess its condition. Any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing wear are replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench before final sign-off.

Exclusion: The Mechatronic Unit Remains Original

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original unit must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch, however, is supplied brand new with this gearbox reference TTT.

Exchange Basis: Delivery Before Return of the Old Unit

This reconditioned gearbox is dispatched before the old unit is collected. The gearbox is therefore delivered and fitted without the vehicle being left off the road waiting for an exchange. The old gearbox, provided the casing or block is intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and installed. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment
