Reconditioning of the PYU Gearbox

This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before worn internal components such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced; it is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to verify correct operation prior to dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer; the dual-clutch assembly, however, is included in this sale.

Exchange Basis: Delivery Before Return of the Old Unit

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned PYU gearbox is dispatched first, before any collection of the old unit; the garage is therefore never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road any longer than necessary. The old gearbox, casing or block intact, is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
