This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Golf fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (1390 cm³), compatible with engine codes BMY, BLG, CAXA, CAVD, CXSA, CPTA, CZCA and CZEA; it is supplied under reference RRF. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component, followed by replacement of all wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

The old gearbox – casing and block intact – is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original mechatronic unit must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch, however, is one of the internal mechanical components fully reconditioned as part of the rebuild.
