This reconditioned gearbox, reference ECW, is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. The gears, synchros, bearings and worn seals are replaced; the gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring reliable performance once fitted to the Golf.

Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched to your workshop first — the old unit is not collected before delivery. Your original gearbox casing or housing stays with you and is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is never off the road and the garage is never left without a gearbox. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment
