This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Golf models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFHC, CFGB, CRBC, CRLB, CRMB, DCYA and DFGA; it carries the reference SKZ. This dual-clutch gearbox is fitted to a large number of diesel Golf models, and wear typically manifests as jerking or a loss of day-to-day reliability.

The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, and the SKZ gearbox is supplied with a brand-new dual-clutch assembly.

Exchange Basis: Immediate Delivery, Deferred Return

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is dispatched before the old unit is collected, so the garage is never left without parts and the vehicle is not left stranded on the ramp. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the SKZ gearbox has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Exclusion: The Mechatronic Unit Remains Original

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer when fitting the SKZ gearbox.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
