This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TSI fitted with the CCZA, CCZB, CHHB or CJXC engines (1984 cm³) and carries the reference KRF. It is offered as a replacement for a dual-clutch automatic gearbox that has become noisy, imprecise or has failed, avoiding a lengthy period off the road.

Reconditioning this gearbox involves a complete strip-down, cleaning and systematic inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.

Exchange Basis: The Reconditioned Unit Is Dispatched Before the Old One Is Returned

Under this exchange arrangement, the old unit is not collected before delivery. The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle does not need to be kept off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new KRF gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for this KRF reference can be spread over several instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
