The 1.9 D (codes WJY / UFBA) is the oldest engine fitted to the Jumpy; mechanically robust, new units are now very difficult to source, making a rebuild a particularly worthwhile option. The first-generation 2.0 HDi engines (DW10FC, DW10FD) are known for cylinder head problems caused by overheating, often made worse by irregular cooling system maintenance on high-mileage commercial vehicles.
