Advice Before Fitting on the Rio 1.5 CRDi

Before installation, check the oil circuit (hoses, feed and return lines), the air intake and the condition of the air filter, as well as the intercooler — a common cause of premature wear when clogged. An oil change using a suitable quality oil reduces the risk of damage caused by inadequate lubrication. On first start-up, priming the turbo with oil is recommended to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately before the engine is brought up to speed.
