It comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting this turbo to the Passat

On the 2.0 TDI 140, turbo failure is frequently caused by insufficient lubrication: use a good-quality oil suited to the engine and keep to the recommended oil change intervals. Also check the condition of the air filter and intercooler, as well as the integrity of the intake hoses, to prevent premature fouling of the vanes. Before starting the new turbo for the first time, check the oil circuit (hoses and return line) and prime it with oil to ensure immediate lubrication from the moment the engine starts.
