This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Jetta is never left off the road. The part carries a 12-month warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before and after fitting

On a 2.0 TDI, turbo failure is often caused by a lubrication problem: incorrect oil, missed oil changes, or a blocked oil feed pipe. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit (feed and return pipes), the air filter, and the condition of the intercooler and intake hoses, which can allow contaminants to reach the new turbo. On first start-up, let the engine idle for a few moments without revving it, to allow the oil to prime the turbo properly and avoid any dry running at start-up.
