This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required; however, it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to the Passat, so your vehicle is never left off the road. It carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting this turbo to the Passat

On the 2.0 TDI 140, turbo failure is frequently caused by inadequate lubrication: use a good-quality oil suited to the engine and keep to the recommended service intervals. Also check the condition of the air filter and intercooler, as well as the integrity of the intake hoses, to prevent premature fouling of the vanes. Before starting the new turbo for the first time, inspect the oil circuit (hoses and return line) and prime it with oil to ensure immediate lubrication from the moment the engine fires.
