It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Audi A6 is never left off the road unnecessarily. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On a V6 TDI such as the one in the A6 (C6), turbo lifespan depends heavily on the quality and freshness of the engine oil: follow the service intervals scrupulously and use an oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications. Before installation, check the condition of the oil circuit (hoses, return pipe), the cleanliness of the air filter, and the integrity of the intake circuit and intercooler, as any contamination or leak will accelerate premature wear of the new turbo. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial engine start, then allow the engine to idle for a few moments before putting it under load, to ensure correct lubrication of the bearings from the very first revolutions.
