Exchange basis and warranty for this D-Max turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, and it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your D-Max is never left off the road. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, up to 10 instalments.

Advice before and after fitting on the 4JJ1-TC

Turbo failure on this engine is most commonly caused by a lubrication fault: oil not changed at the recommended intervals, incorrect oil grade, or a clogged air filter forcing the turbo to work under poor conditions. Before fitting, check the oil circuit (hoses, feed and return lines), the condition of the intercooler, and the integrity of the intake hoses to prevent any foreign matter from entering. When starting up for the first time, it is essential to prime the turbo with oil before the initial start, then let the engine idle for a few moments to ensure proper lubrication before putting it under load.
