Diagnosing the turbo on your Audi A3 2.0 TFSI before replacement
Before ordering a new turbo for your Audi A3 fitted with the 2.0 TFSI engine, it is advisable to confirm the root cause of the fault. Checking the boost pressure, visually inspecting the turbine for axial or radial play, reading the engine fault codes, and looking for oil deposits in the intake circuit will help rule out a secondary cause (sensor, split hose, wastegate solenoid) before committing to a full turbocharger replacement. Blue smoke from the exhaust, a loss of power at high revs, or an unusual whistling noise under acceleration are warning signs that should not be ignored on this engine.
Compatibility of the new turbo with the Audi A3 2.0 TFSI
This new turbo is compatible with reference 06K145702Q, which fits the Audi A3 with the 2.0 TFSI 220 engine. The engine codes covered by this application are CNTC, CWZA, CHHB and CHHC. Before placing an order, we strongly recommend checking the reference printed on the label of your old turbo or on your vehicle registration document to ensure perfect compatibility with your vehicle.

Fitting advice for the turbo on the Audi A3 2.0 TFSI
Before installing the new turbo, check the condition of the air hoses and air intake, and ensure the oil circuit and intercooler are clean. Replace the air filter if necessary and make sure a recent oil change has been carried out using a quality oil suited to this turbocharged engine, as lubrication is a frequent cause of premature failure. When starting up, prime the turbo's oil circuit before the first engine start to avoid the bearings running dry.
