It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW X6 is not left off the road during the process. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting
On an N54B30 twin-turbo engine, turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or overdue oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a habit of revving the engine hard when cold. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start to protect the turbine bearings.
