A new turbo designed for everyday use in your Kia Venga
The Kia Venga 1.4 CRDi is often used for urban and suburban journeys, with frequent stop-start driving and short trips that don't always give the engine time to reach operating temperature. This type of use puts considerable strain on the turbocharger, particularly during acceleration out of town or when pulling away on the open road. A worn turbo on this model typically shows itself as a loss of power at low revs, unusual exhaust smoke, or a distinctive whistling noise under acceleration.
Compatibility with Kia Venga engines
This new turbo is compatible with reference 49173-02702, intended for Kia Venga models fitted with the 1.4 CRDi 75, 1.4 CRDi 78 and 1.4 CRDi 90 engines, associated with engine codes D4FB and D4FC, for a diesel engine with a capacity of 1396 cm3. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference printed on your old turbo or on your vehicle registration document, as several turbo variants may exist depending on the trim level and production date of the vehicle.

Exchange basis and warranty on this new turbo
This new turbo for the Kia Venga is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, the old turbo must be returned, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is not left off the road. It comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting the turbo on your Venga
On D4FB and D4FC engines, turbo reliability depends heavily on the quality and cleanliness of the engine oil: keeping to the recommended service intervals with the correct grade of oil limits bearing fouling and deposit build-up. Before fitting, check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the intake hoses, and that there are no air leaks, all of which can affect the performance of the new turbo. Also check the condition of the air filter and intercooler — if either is dirty or damaged, it will accelerate premature wear of the turbocharger. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start so that the turbo bearings are properly lubricated from the very first engine revolutions. Gentle driving over the first few kilometres, avoiding sudden high-rev acceleration, will also help the part bed in gradually.
