A new turbo designed for Range Rover use
The Range Rover fitted with the 4.4 TDV8/SDV8 diesel engine combines long-distance driving, occasional off-road use and the heavy loads associated with the vehicle's weight. This type of use places considerable strain on the twin-turbo system, particularly during sustained acceleration or towing. A new turbo, fitted in the correct position in the circuit, restores the boost pressure required by this powerful engine and brings performance back to factory levels.
Compatibility of this new turbo for the Range Rover
This new turbo is compatible with reference 802733-5004S and fits Range Rover models powered by the 4.4 TDV8 and 4.4 SDV8, with engine code 448DT. Before placing an order, we recommend that customers check the reference on the plate of their old turbo or on their vehicle registration document, as several turbo variants may exist depending on the position (left or right) on this twin-turbo engine configuration.

Exchange basis and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The old unit is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is not left off the road during the process. The new turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional.
Advice before fitting on this V8 diesel engine
On the 4.4 TDV8/SDV8, the majority of turbo failures are caused by lubrication problems: poor-quality oil, missed oil changes or a clogged oil filter can quickly damage the bearings of the new turbo. Before installation, the oil circuit, the condition of the lubrication hoses, the cleanliness of the intercooler and the airtightness of the air intake should all be checked to prevent any contamination of the new turbo. When starting up, oil priming is recommended before the first start to ensure immediate lubrication of the components. Driving gently for the first few kilometres, without harsh acceleration, will help maximise the longevity of the new turbo in a vehicle as heavy as the Range Rover.
Flexible payment
Payment for this new turbo can be spread over several instalments – pay in up to 10 instalments – making it easier to purchase this essential component for the engine's proper operation.
