This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbocharger is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Classe C is not left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

On the OM 646 engines fitted to the Classe C, the leading cause of premature failure is inadequate lubrication – typically the result of using the wrong grade of oil or missing a service interval, which causes the turbo's oil galleries to become blocked. Also check the condition of the air filter and the integrity of the intercooler and intake hoses, which are a frequent source of pressure loss. Before fitting, clean or replace the oil feed pipes, check the air intake, and pre-lubricate the new turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication on start-up and prevent any dry running.
