Restore your Mégane's full responsiveness behind the wheel

In a Renault Mégane fitted with a 2.0 dCi engine, the difference is felt from the very first metres: crisp mid-range pull, smooth and linear power delivery, and none of that slight lag that gives away a worn turbo. A turbo in good condition gives your Mégane back its ability to accelerate effortlessly, whether loaded or on a mountain road, while keeping diesel consumption in check. This new turbo, compatible with reference 765015-5006S, is offered to restore that driving feel to your Mégane.

Compatibility with Mégane 2.0 dCi engines

This turbo is compatible with Renault Mégane models fitted with a 1995 cm³ 2.0 dCi diesel engine, including the 150 hp and 163 hp versions, on blocks identified by engine codes M9R 610, M9R 700, M9R 721 and M9R 722. Before placing an order, please check the exact reference printed on the label of your old turbo, as several turbo variants may be fitted to the same model depending on the year of manufacture and power output.

Exchange basis and warranty on this Mégane turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Mégane is not left off the road during the process. It comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Common causes of failure and advice before fitting

On M9R engines, turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, the use of unsuitable oil or delayed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a leak at the intercooler or intake hoses. Aggressive high-revving immediately after a cold start also accelerates turbo wear. Before fitting the new turbo to your Mégane, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting up, make sure to prime the turbo with oil before the first start to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings.
