This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The return only takes place after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is not left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Fitting advice for the Hiace
Before installation, check the condition of the oil circuit (pressure and cleanliness), the intake hoses and the air intake, to avoid any further premature failure. Also check the air filter and intercooler — two components that are often overlooked but directly affect turbo service life. When starting up, prime the turbo with oil before the first engine start, then let it idle for a few moments to allow the bearings to lubricate properly. Regular oil changes using a suitable high-quality oil remain essential to protect this new turbo on a heavily used commercial vehicle.
