Referenced PMT, this dual-clutch S tronic 7 gearbox is put under considerable strain in urban driving, which accounts for accelerated wear on certain internal components. The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not left off the road. This approach minimises downtime, which is particularly valuable for S tronic gearboxes where removal requires a significant amount of labour time. Exclusions to be aware of for this reference

This gearbox is sold with a new dual-clutch unit, but without the mechatronic unit: the mechatronic unit is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch unit, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.
