The reconditioned S tronic 7 gearbox for the Audi A1 1.6 TDI, compatible with CAYB and CAYC engines of 1598 cm³, is available under reference PWF. This dual-clutch gearbox is fitted to a large number of diesel A1 models, and replacement becomes necessary when the following symptoms appear.

The dual-clutch assembly is included with this reconditioned gearbox, reference PWF. However, this gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting.

Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, before any collection of the old unit; the garage is therefore never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox — casing or block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
