Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component; any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing wear are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
