The S tronic 7 gearbox is fully reconditioned through a rigorous process that restores it to its original performance.

The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance in line with the original specification.
Exchange basis: how it works
Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, without waiting for the old unit to be returned. The garage is therefore never without a part and the vehicle is not left off the road. The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is collected only after the QYQ gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
What is not included with this gearbox
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit; it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this gearbox.
