Reconditioned BMW X3 Transfer Case – Reference ATC400

This reconditioned BMW X3 transfer case, reference ATC400, is fitted to the X3's xDrive all-wheel-drive transmission system. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the casing, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as the chain, bearings, seals and clutch elements, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test prior to dispatch.

Signs That the ATC400 Transfer Case Needs Replacing

An X3 with a worn ATC400 transfer case may exhibit juddering or clunking when torque distribution shifts between the axles, vibrations at low speed during tight turns, chain noise under load, or xDrive-related warning lights appearing on the dashboard. An oil leak specific to the casing is also a common sign of advanced wear requiring attention.

Exchange Basis: Your Reconditioned Unit Delivered First, Old Unit Collected Afterwards

This ATC400 transfer case is sold on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. The reconditioned unit is delivered first, avoiding any need to immobilise the vehicle or the axle in the workshop: your old transfer case, with its casing intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This transfer case is sold without the associated electronics: the control unit and the electronic management components of the xDrive system are neither reconditioned nor tested and remain the vehicle's original parts; they are not supplied or included in the sale.

Warranty and Payment

This BMW X3 ATC400 transfer case comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
