This 6-speed manual gearbox for the Citroën Berlingo 1.5 BlueHDi 100, with an engine capacity of 1499 cm³, is reconditioned to a rigorous process before being offered under reference 20V261. Every 20V261 gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected down to its smallest components. The gears, synchros, bearings and seals are then replaced, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to verify correct operation throughout.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

Several symptoms should alert the driver of a Berlingo fitted with this manual transmission: crunching or grinding when changing gear, difficulty engaging a gear, unusual juddering, a reverse gear that refuses to engage, or vibrations through the gear lever. An oil leak beneath the vehicle or an unusual mechanical noise while driving are also warning signs that should not be ignored.

Exchange basis: your garage is never left without a part

Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, before the old unit is even collected. This means the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is off the road for as little time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
