Reconditioned BMP6 Gearbox – Citroën C4 2.0 HDi

This reconditioned BMP6 gearbox for the Citroën C4 2.0 HDi, with an engine capacity of 1997 cm³, is available under reference 20DS37. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component, followed by replacement of all wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your BMP6 Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a C4 fitted with the BMP6, several warning signs should not be ignored: jerky or delayed gear changes, noticeable jolts when shifting, an automated gearbox warning light on the dashboard, abnormal slipping felt under acceleration, or a persistent metallic noise at idle. This reconditioned BMP6 gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not kept off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
