Reconditioned Opel Vivaro 1.9 DTI Gearbox – Ref. PK5019

This gearbox for the Opel Vivaro fitted with the 1.9 DTI engine is reconditioned to a strict specification, restoring precise and long-lasting gear changes. Reference PK5019 is a 5-speed manual gearbox fitted to the Vivaro with the 1.9 diesel unit; it also fits closely related vehicles such as the Renault Trafic and the Nissan Primastar, which share the same mechanical platform. Before going on sale, every gearbox bearing reference PK5019 is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, and all internal wear parts – including gears, synchros, bearings and seals – are replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

Several symptoms should alert the driver of a Vivaro fitted with reference PK5019: crunching or grinding when changing gear, difficulty engaging a gear from cold, unexpected gear jumps whilst driving, abnormal vibrations through the gear lever, or an oil leak beneath the casing. An unusual bearing noise in neutral can also indicate advanced wear of the internal bearings.

Exchange basis: your reconditioned unit delivered before the old one is returned

Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, before the old unit is collected. This means the original casing stays in place for as long as needed and the vehicle is never off the road longer than necessary. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been fitted by a professional, the old gearbox – casing intact – is collected and must be returned, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. You can spread the cost of your order and pay in up to 10 instalments.
